Coexist in harmony
In Japan, there is a culture of enjoying the pleasure of eating "rice from the same pot.“ It means working and getting to know the stranger that you meet that day. By sharing a meal from the same pot no longer makes you strangers, but someone you shared a special moment with.
We will hold a workshop where participants can enjoy making pottery and musubi. Although they may be young or old, male or female, and in different positions and languages, it will be a place where everyone feels joy by being both a producer and consumer.
It is one of my favorite activities as an artist to make a space where people with different backgrounds can share a creative time using ceramics.
